Terms of Use

Rack Rebel Social is designed to make playing American Mahjong more fun by allowing players to record games, track personal statistics and progress, collect badges and achievements, participate in friendly leaderboards, and create or share graphics celebrating their play.

The Service is intended for recreational and entertainment purposes. Statistics, rankings, badges, achievements, and other information provided through the Service are not official rankings or records of the National Mah Jongg League or any other organization unless specifically stated otherwise.

You may be asked to create an account or provide information such as your name in order to use certain features.

You are responsible for activity associated with your account and for providing accurate information when using the Service.

You may not impersonate another person, intentionally enter fraudulent game results, manipulate statistics or leaderboards, interfere with another player's account, or use the Service in a way that disrupts the experience for others.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that misuse the Service.

Rack Rebel Social relies on information entered by players and, where applicable, Rack Rebel hosts or administrators.

We do not guarantee that scores, statistics, leaderboards, streaks, achievements, rarity calculations, or other game information will always be complete or error-free.

The point is to track your progress, celebrate your play, and add a little friendly competition. Please don't make us become the Mahjong Stats Police.

Rack Rebel Social includes a system of badges, achievements, challenges, collections, rarity information, progress tracking, statistics, and related features.

Badges and achievements may be earned based on game activity or other criteria established by Rack Rebel. Badge requirements, availability, artwork, designs, names, descriptions, categories, collections, rarity classifications, and criteria may change over time.

Some badges or achievement criteria may intentionally remain secret until they are earned.

Badge rarity or similar information may be calculated using activity within the Rack Rebel Social community and may change as additional players earn an achievement.

Badges have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash unless a specific promotion expressly states otherwise.

The Service may include leaderboards or other features that allow players to compare game activity or accomplishments.

By participating in features that include a leaderboard, you understand that your display name and certain Mahjong-related information, such as scores, wins, badges, achievements, or rankings, may be visible to other participants.

Leaderboards are intended to create friendly competition, not determine who gets to be insufferable at the table.

Rack Rebel Social and the original content made available through it are owned by Stainbrook Scents LLC or used with permission.

Where legally protectable, this includes original artwork, graphics, badge artwork and collections, badge and achievement descriptions, written copy, challenge content, shareable graphics, visual designs, software and code, educational materials, photographs, illustrations, and other original creative materials.

You may use shareable images and achievements generated for you by the Service for your own personal and social-media use.

Except where expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, commercially exploit, scrape, harvest, systematically extract, download in bulk, reverse engineer, or create a substantially duplicated version of Rack Rebel Social or its protected content without our written permission.

You may not systematically copy, extract, reproduce, or compile Rack Rebel's badge catalog, badge artwork, badge descriptions, achievement criteria, challenge collections, shareable graphic designs, original written content, or other protected materials for use in another product, service, website, app, league, club, database, dataset, or competing platform.

You may not use Rack Rebel content obtained through the Service to build, train, populate, benchmark, develop, or substantially reproduce another commercial product or service without written permission.

Nothing in these Terms claims ownership over the rules of American Mahjong, facts, ideas, methods, systems, or other material that is not protectable under applicable intellectual-property law. These Terms also do not prevent anyone from independently creating products or services involving common ideas or concepts that Rack Rebel does not legally own.

RackRebel.co, Rack Rebel Co., Rack Rebel Social, associated logos, and other Rack Rebel names, branding, and source-identifying materials are trademarks, trade names, or branding of Stainbrook Scents LLC to the extent protected by applicable law.

They may not be used in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, affiliation, endorsement, authorization, or ownership by Rack Rebel without permission.

Please use Rack Rebel Social like a normal, decent human.

You may not use the Service to:

• harass or harm another user;
• gain unauthorized access to another person's account or information;
• deliberately manipulate game results, badges, rankings, rarity information, or statistics;
• probe, attack, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its security;
• use bots, crawlers, scrapers, scripts, automated agents, data-mining tools, or similar technology to access, scrape, harvest, monitor, copy, download, or systematically extract content or data from the Service without written permission;
• circumvent rate limits, access controls, robots directives, authentication requirements, or other technical measures intended to restrict automated or unauthorized access;
• compile or maintain a database, dataset, archive, catalog, or collection of Rack Rebel Social content through automated or systematic extraction;
• attempt to access portions of the Service you are not authorized to access;
• use Rack Rebel content or data to build, train, populate, benchmark, develop, or substantially reproduce a competing product or service; or
• assist another person or service in doing any of the above.

Normal use of Rack Rebel Social by individual players, including viewing their information and using the sharing features we provide, is not prohibited by this section.

Rack Rebel Social is an evolving service. Features may be added, changed, temporarily unavailable, or removed.

We may also correct game records, badge awards, rarity calculations, statistics, or other information when necessary.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or permanent availability of the Service or any particular feature.

Rack Rebel Social may rely on third-party technology providers for services such as hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, communications, or other functionality.

Your use of those technologies may also be subject to the applicable provider's terms and privacy practices.

Rack Rebel Social is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from technical problems, or that every statistic, badge, rarity calculation, leaderboard position, or game record will always be perfectly accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stainbrook Scents LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use Rack Rebel Social.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

You may stop using Rack Rebel Social at any time.

We may restrict or terminate access to the Service when reasonably necessary to protect Rack Rebel, our players, our intellectual property, or the security and integrity of the Service, including in response to unauthorized scraping, automated access, copying, or extraction.

We may update these Terms as Rack Rebel Social grows or its features change. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and may provide additional notice when appropriate.

Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
